Patrols

During the last two years we successfully added irregular patrols to our activities. Unfortunately, this is influenced by the amount of our money. Patrol activities are divided into four categories: aerial, marine, motorised and walking. Thanks to our external co-operators and supporters we nearly achieved a professional level. All of our patrols are done in note and cooperation with police.

 

Our activities do not include only the monitoring of the compliance of the Nature Protection Act, but also securing the safety against forest fires and the help for tourists. We are active in summer and winter months, too.

So here it is!

Fall came, and everyone is trying to prepare for winter. Unfortunately, not everyone honestly... At the request of mayors, police co-operation of Slovakia and employees of state forests, we began to carry out preventive patrols in protected areas aimed at eliminating illegal logging and timber harvesting.

Under this heading was on 23th September 2011 provided the first rangers meeting of our association with members of mountain rescue services from Brezno headed by Mr. Űrge. Meeting was on climbing wall at the Kalamárka near Detva. Rangers acquainted during the day knowledge for the practical use of climbing techniques from 

their instructors needed for their protectionist activities or work in the rocky terrain NPR - Burda, where they regular patrol.
 
In the words of President oz Gbelce crassiceps - to help nature, Matej Medveď, they would like to establish cooperation continued in the future. "During the upcoming meeting we would rehearse rescueing in mountainous terrain, because you never know to how situation you can get during a routine patrol when checking compliance with the law in difficult terrain of hills of Burdov. We would like to lend a hand, as well to rescuers, as well to the police. "

If a man lived in Slovakia and would not believe that even such a simple thing like get off the car can take up to 15 years. Finally succeeded! But thanks to an employee of the Office for investments and acquisitions of the Ministry of Defence, but especially our personal thanks to Mr Defence Minister Lubomir Galko. It was him who responded to our request for material assistance such as first and only approached us with government ministers. I firmly believe that we will be able to thank him, even if only symbolically, the grant price "for helping nature", we would like to cast him in person soon.
Even though we are a non-profit NGO and works only with the help of our sponsors we are proud of our achievements and we would like to continue our activities in the set rate and increasing our borders. We speak to continue asking for help budding sponsors and we hope we can until September to make all our planned activities and objectives, which we will certainly in due course.
